Introduction
Once you have contacted Prosser Scott we will make an appointment convenient to you, so we can plan a Service that "Celebrates" the life of your loved one.  It is essential that the Executor or Next of Kin is present at this meeting.

At the arrangement there are a number of items that need to be covered such as:
  • Recording of deceased's personal details for Registrar General, i.e.; Location and date of birth, occupation, marital status, parents details, marriage details and names and birth dates of children
  • Date and place of death
  • Cremation or Burial
  • Re-opening of a Grave or purchasing a burial site
  • Service Venue and time
  • Pallbearers
  • Minister of Religion or Funeral Celebrant
  • Vehicles required by family
  • Choice of coffin
  • Newspaper notices
  • Flowers, Balloons, Doves or Butterflies
  • Catering
  • Music
  • Order of Service Booklets or Bookmarks
  • RSL Recognition (Flag, Last Post, Poppies, live Bugler or Piper)
  • Photo Presentation on LCD screen in Chapel or Church
  • Choosing clothing for your loved one and maybe a photo that can be used at the Service
Mostly a family will choose a Minister or Celebrant to conduct the Funeral Service but any person nominated by the family is able to conduct the Service.

At the conclusion of an arrangement the Funeral Director will present you with an itemized estimate of costs.

Our arrangers are available 7 days a week to meet with you at your home or at our offices and you can contact us by phone 24 hours a day.
