We offer a wide range of coffin styles, including premium timber, chapel, low-cost, and eco-friendly options.

Yes. We offer a selection of funeral flowers, including formal arrangements, mixed baskets, native floral designs, wreaths, and casket arrangements.

Ashes are available two working days after the funeral and are held by the cemetery for six months. Placement options can include a family grave, garden of remembrance, niche wall, or rose bush area.

A church service usually includes hymns, readings, and eulogies in the church, followed by a procession to the cemetery and final burial or cremation rites.

Prosser Scott has private chapels in Subiaco and Fremantle, with a condolence lounge for light refreshments after the service. Base catering is included, and there are no time restrictions, so families do not feel rushed.

A pre-paid funeral lets you arrange your funeral in advance through the W.A. Funeral Benefit Fund, helping reduce the financial burden on your family.

You can meet the team at the Fremantle or Subiaco office, or arrange for a staff member to meet you at home.

Yes. Prosser Scott can arrange a private viewing in its chapel before the service, and arrangers can meet you at home or at the office.

Include personal details, family names, memories, achievements, hobbies, stories, and any readings or music that reflect the person’s life. Keep it short, and the Minister or Celebrant can read it if needed.

Prosser Scott arranges the death certificate with the Registrar, gives you a copy of the submitted details to check, and the certificate is usually forwarded to the estate administrator about 7–10 days later.

Depending on eligibility, Centrelink or Veterans Affairs may provide funeral-related support, and social workers can help with counselling and practical tasks after bereavement.

Prosser Scott liaises with the doctor and the Registrar of Deaths, while the executor, family member, or close friend may need to contact organisations such as Centrelink, Veterans Affairs, banks, utilities, Medicare, insurers, and the Taxation Office.

If the estate does not cover funeral costs, help may be available through Centrelink or Veterans Affairs, and their social workers can also guide you through paperwork and support services.

You can plan the service with Prosser Scott after making an appointment, and options may include the coffin, music, notices, floral tributes, catering, order-of-service booklets, photo presentations, clothing, and RSL recognition.

First, contact the family doctor, locum service, or Silver Chain to certify the death. Then contact Prosser Scott, and they will arrange transfer into their care as soon as possible.
