The Ashes

Availability & Holding Period

Ashes are available two working days after the funeral and are held by the Cemetery for six months.

Interment & Placement Options

If you wish to inter the ashes within the cemetery, you must arrange a time with the cemetery administrator to discuss placement options. Available choices include:

• Family Grave

  Inter ashes alongside loved ones in an existing family plot.

• Garden of Remembrance

  Placement in a dedicated garden designed for ash interment.

• Niche Walls

  Secure a niche compartment in a memorial wall.

• Rose Bush

  Plant a rose bush with ashes beneath it as a living tribute.

Collection Process

The Administrator is the only person authorised to collect the ashes from the Cemetery. However the Administrator may authorise another person to collect the ashes by giving written authority to do so. This person will need photo identification.
